Wind power is slightly more challenging than solar purely because your home has to be in the right location to harvest the wind consistently. However, its benefits are well documented and it’s extremely good for the environment.

Insulating your home is by far the most cost-effective way of improving the environmental impact of your house. After all the more insulation in your building the less you have to turn the heating on!
Electric heaters
If you choose modern and intelligent electric heaters then these can be extremely good for the environment. After all, they’re incredibly efficient and cost-effective to run.
