All Posts

The cost of living crisis has been taking a financial toll on many of us. This rise in bill prices is impacting households all over the UK and it can be difficult and stressful to find the extra money to pay for your rising energy bills.

There are schemes available to help out specific households, however, if you are not receiving any financial help with your bills, there are a range of solutions you can try to help you save some money during this time.

Our simple guide to dealing with the escalating prices will be sure to give you some pointers to help you save money!

Solar Power

If you haven’t already thought about solar power, it is a renewable and reliable energy source that can massively reduce your bills. Solar power uses the energy from the sun to create eco-friendly energy that can be used to make your home more efficient. It can also save you plenty of money on your bills too.

Cavity Wall Insulation

Opting for wall insulation can be a great way to conserve the energy and heat that is already in your home. Heat can be easily lost through uninsulated walls, so investing in quality insulation can go a long way in keeping your home nice and warm.

Air Source Heat Pump

Air source heat pumps are another alternative source that you can use to provide heat in your home. Many people decide to have an air source heat pump installed, and outdoor air is converted into heat energy. They are efficient and cheaper in the long run, despite the installation costs to begin with.

Electric Heating

Electric heating is far cheaper than its gas competitor. Heating upgrades from gas to electric can end up saving you a lot of money on your bills in the long run. They can be designed to fit your home specifically, making them a good investment.

UK Energy Management

These are just a few of the things you can look into to help you save money with the rise in energy bills. There are plenty of solutions, with many homes now deciding to install smart plugs, smart home controls or solar appliances.

Here at UK Energy Management, we are dedicated to helping you find the right energy solutions for your home. We offer a range of modern solutions that are sure to help your home become more efficient and we understand the strain that the cost of living crisis is causing.
